“Adventure”- 2012:: acrylic paint
My good friend Will runs the Global Missions Health Conference, among the many other things he does. I was so honored for him to ask me to create a painting that I felt depicted the heart of the organization and annual conference, who’s goal is to spur on medical professionals to answer the call and embark on the journey God has for them, beyond the four walls of their comfortable, stateside clinics. This is what resulted!

I recently had the great privilege in my job to combine my deep love for the work and ministry of Compassion with my heart for creating art. One of the sweetest parts of my job is getting to work with incredible ministries throughout the US, one being Student Life. The Student Life staff work tireless with great passion to share the story of Compassion and sponsorship with every camper that enters one of their camps each summer. The Student Life staff have been such incredible partners of Compassion, and we truly could never thank them enough for their devotion and sold-out hearts for the kids that will potentially get sponsored through their camps each summer. I had the chance to create a painting of one of each of their sponsored kids as a “thank you” from our team at Compassion to theirs for all their hard work and dedication.

“Honduras Girl” - 2012:: acrylic
I recently did this painting for a dear friend, as a gift for his friend. This little girl was one he met on a mission trip to Honduras, and absolutely fell in love with her and her innocence and purity, which is reflected in her smile and white dress, in contrast to the poverty and darkness around her.

“Sara and James” :: 2012:: charcoal pencil
Sara is a dear friend of mine, and her husband James works with me at Compassion. They are such an awesome couple, and I was truly honored to have the opportunity to do this drawing of them for their 5th Anniversary!

“Telluride”- 2012:: acrylic
I did this painting for my sweet sister on her sweet 16! We spent her birthday week in Telluride, CO… a place i have always wanted to go. It was such an incredible week with my family, and I wanted her to be able to remember the beauty of that place and time.
